Getting involved can begin with a first Sunday, but it grows through friendship, serving, generosity, and a shared commitment to the people around us.
Church life
Most people begin by turning up on a Sunday, then gradually finding the rhythms and teams that help them belong more deeply.

Join us to pray each Monday–Friday at 8.00am for 30 minutes on Zoom at online.stjohnspark.org. We also meet to pray on the first Sunday of the month from 10.00–10.30am in the church building before the service. On Wednesdays, a quieter Communion service starts at 11.00am, followed by toasties or bring-your-own lunch and then Bible study.
Serving teams
There are many ways to help church life flourish each week, from welcoming and hospitality to worship, kids and youth, admin, cleaning, food support, creative work, and audio-visual help.
Generosity
St John’s is growing! We praise God for growth in our under-18s, Sunday attendance and core team. Our foodbank has supported over 1,500 people, and we have shared the Gospel with many in our community through events. Regular giving has increased, and fundraising has secured over £100,000 towards building improvements. We have also been invited to partner with community organisations and the Diocese to do more work beyond our walls.
Growing Eden life
We have a vision to see Eden life spring up in our community through the love of Jesus. This requires financial resources, and your regular gift will make a huge difference in helping our kingdom dreams come to life.
Take a next step
Whether you want to ask about serving, giving, kids and youth, or simply becoming part of the church family, we would love to help you find the right next step.
