First time at St John's Park

First Visit

Whether you are returning to church, exploring faith, or just looking for somewhere to begin, we want your first visit to feel straightforward and welcoming.

Sunday at a glance

Sundays at 10:45am

We gather to worship Jesus, hear the Bible taught, pray, and share life together. Services are usually a little over an hour, and there is always time afterwards to meet people over refreshments.

What to expect

What to Expect

You do not need to know the words, the format, or anyone in the room before you arrive.

The service

We sing together, read Scripture, hear Bible teaching, and spend time in prayer. We share Communion together on the first and third Sundays of the month.

Kids and youth

We have All In Sundays on the first week of the month where every generation worships together. The rest of the month we run age-specific groups during the second part of the service. Families are always welcome.

Afterwards

Please stay for refreshments and conversation. It is one of the easiest ways to get to know people and ask any questions you still have after the service.

Kids and youth

Kids & Youth

From younger children to teenagers, we want the next generation to know they are loved, known, and included in the life of the church.

  • Tiny Tots (0-5), Park Kids (primary), and Park Youth: Faith Explorers (secondary to 16) run during term-time Sundays.
  • Park Youth: Cornerstone meets on Wednesdays, 6:00pm–7:15pm for secondary schoolers.
  • If you want to ask about children or youth before visiting, we would be happy to help.
