Week of Prayer and Fasting

We began the year by setting aside a week to pray and fast together.

The week included morning prayer on Zoom, a Wednesday evening prayer gathering at St John’s, and the Seek First worship night at Sheffield Cathedral. The prayer focus invited people to pray for their personal walk with God, our church family, the local community, Sheffield, the nation, the world, and a spirit of thanksgiving and surrender.

It helped establish prayer and fasting as part of the rhythm of church life.
